Okay i have 3 minnow, 2 black neon tetra, 1 juvi convict female with my red ear slider turtle in my 55 gallon. Recently i have seen 2 of the minnow rubbing their side on the bottom of my tank. both of them had white stringy poop about 5 days ago. my other fish are fine. no flashing wadsoever. im feeding 3 times a day. all of them very active and eat well. so whats the problem?

Occasional flashing is fine. Is this done on more frequent basis? Observe for other symptoms. Are the gills still healthy red and well defined?

The white stringy poop indicates a parasite or bacterial infection.

I dont sit at the tank 24/7 but usually i'll see one minnow flash at least once every 20 minutes. Gills are red. White stringy poop is less common now. maybe 1 every 3 days.
