There is no secret ..it is fatty deposit and it comes with maturity and more obvious on male fish..

Yes, it is recommended to flick the kok of your fish, but will only work if it is done 15-20 times daily, and with James Brown playing at a level of 80-90db...... I'm sorry, that was just dangling out there for someone to jump on. Seriously though, I agree with what you've already been told.
