stay away from jacobs, they get the largest.
chitande are a smaller type that can be really nice. sulfur head maylandi and kandeense are two great looking ones in that group.

The Chitande-types are one of my favorite, with maylandi/kandeense close behind. Outside of them there is hueseri - I haven't seen a good strain around my area yet, but of course any one that looks like it came out of Ad's books would be sweet.
Maylandi is my favorite group of peacocks I keep right now. Sick color in a species tank.... which you can get away with throwing a quad in a 20L.
i love maylandi. the iridescent sides and yellow blaze are great. its the subtlety of them that i like. they aren't as flashy as other peacocks.
