whats this dark spot on my piranha's head?

hey guys, just wondering what this dark spot on my piranha's head is? its been there since he was about 1/2 inch, he is now 5 inches. i also noticed that another one of my piranhas is not showing signs of one in almost the same spot. they both seem to be right below the skin on the head. anyone know what it is?

looks like either a head wound of the beginnigs of hole in the head disease. sorry, I don't know much about it.

I think it may be HITH, then. sorry, i'm not sure how to treat it. adding salt to the water will probably help.

its deffinetly not hith, there is no actual whole, just a dark spot on his head, and its been there since he was .5 inch. also my water is always in pristine condition and they have a very well balanced and varied diet

i dont think you should worry about it. i had an rbp who had a dark marking on his head like yours. went away after awhile
