What's this on my Leo pup

I've had this 6" male Leo pup for a month now and this white mark by his spiracle will not go away. It was there when I first got him but got bigger a week after, since then it's remained the same size.

He eats and behaves fine, other 4 rays are good. Water is perfect with nitrates steady at 30ish (drip system).

is it a sore? it doesnt look like it..
it looks like its lack of pigment...but i am no export on this.

Nope, not a sore. Lack of pigment is more like it but what causes that?
If you look close it also seems as if it's throughout the outer rim of the spiracle although the majority is obviously at the top.
Forgot to add that Ph is steady at 7.6

I would guess the other rays are pouncing and trying to bite his spearacle. My rays do this all the time

Thanks fellas, just though it was strange that it's been there for so long and not getting better.
I'll continue to monitor it.
