We all know that cichla are messy and that they need clean water. So let's see what's under your stand. Let's try to keep this thread about how you filter your cichla tanks and not about cichla pics.
The first 3 pics are my 300g which has a 40g sump with 2 filter socks and 4 liters of seachem matrix, 3 liters of bio max, and 2000 grams of biohome. It also has a closed loop that runs through a 36 watt uv, a 25 micron nu-clear filter, and a tetra pond filter filled with 10 liters of ultra bio media.
The second 2 pics are my 125g which is filtered by a small sump, a cfs 500, a rena xp4 filled with sponges, and a 18 watt uv. Also there's a small canister filter on the front of my sump that I load with purigen.
The last pic is my 75g which is filtered by a rena xp2 filled with biostars, and a aqueon 55/75 hob filter.
