Hey everyone!

My name's Matt, when I was young my dad and I kept a variety of fish but I kind of stopped and have been occupying myself with New Caledonian gecko species for the last 4-ish years.

I plan to get back into fish with a focus on Polypterus and Mastacembelus at some point. So I'll be lurking for info about them and also the DIY section, which has already taught me a TON.

Thanks for looking,
Matt

Welcome! What species of New Caledonians are you working with? I keep and breed Cresteds.

Good to see another Geckophile so soon lol. I've got a few cresteds myself. Also working with R. auriculatus and E. agricolae. Getting some African/Madagascan species soon too. My true love seems to be R. chahoua, I don't even want to think of how much I've spent on those.:screwy:

Here is most of my chahoua group:

Love um! I don't think I've ever seen any of those for sale at the reptile shows I frequent. I just started getting into keeping Rhacodactylus in the last 2 years. I would really like to get some pure Leachies next.

My crested trio.

Thanks, chahoua are the best. They are a bit bigger then cresteds (stock originating from Isle of Pines usually get 50-70 grams and about 10 inches long). They are also the most handleable and personable of any Rhacodactylus.

I'm going to get some leachianus at some point as well but I originally went for the chahoua because they are more color variable:D

What locale leachies are you looking into? Oh and I can't see the photo of your cresteds for some reason.

I really like the Grande Terre subspecies of the leachies. If you do produce some offspring from your chahoua I would be very interested in purchasing some.
