One of my A. baenschi was holding but after about 8-9 days I can see she doesnt have the eggs anymore,something made her spit them out (or perhaps swallow them?) and now shes pissed off at the world.
She has been going around the tank handing out butt whoopings without provocation to everybody but the #1 dominant male ever since (shes even got #2 on the run).
Last time she was holding the D.compressiceps were pecking at her lips like they could smell food,and I think maybe this time she gave in.
As for the breeding part itself im not too concerned since she and 1 other female are only in my show tank by accident.I'm not tearing up the tank to get them out much less their fry.(compressiceps snacks)
I just want her to calm down......
