Basically all my fish in my tank are all pointed up at the top of the tank. They all just look up to the sky. I really can't figure out what is so interesting up there. There does seem to be a bit of an oil slick on the top of the water. That I can't get rid of. Any ideas????

Does anyone have an idea of what is going on? I have a Midas, green terror, JD, and 2 FH's that all stay at the top of the water looking to the sky. My common pleco about every 15 min darts up to the top of the water lets out an air bubble on his way up and then goes right back down to the bottom. All these fish are in my 125, ( i know its too small of a tank for them all but they are small and this is my grow out tank.)

The tank is 60''x19''x26'' the film is not thick at all, but just covers the whole top of the tank. My water params are good, I just did a 50% water change out 2 days ago to try to get rid of the film on top of the water and it did not help much.

Sounds like you do not have good enough surface disruption which will also cause a lack of oxygenation thus they are at the top!

they need oxygen. Put in a bubbler or powerhead to agitate the surface. If there is a film on the surface, it can also interrupt gas exchange. Put a piece of newspaper on the surface so it absorbs the film, remove, repeat until the film is gone.
