Can somebody explain or show a link to a thread that explains streamers on cats. I have been searching but can't find any good info. I was just wondering why they get them. I brought home a Juruense catfish last sunday. He is about 2.5 inches and had a tiny streamer, in 7 days the streamer grew to about 8 inches. Its off of the top of the tail, do they get them elsewhere, I know the tigs can get them on top and bottom of the tail. Just seems like a strange thing for a fish to grow.
