Hi I'm Dave. I came here from flat-fish.com. I always saw the button to click but never did till now. I want to learn how to take better pictures of my awesome fish. I have 3 stingrays. A 14" female, a 12" male and a 10" female. They are all motoros. All my pictures are lame looking and I want to know how to take rad pictures. Hopefully I'll learn a few things here.

hey dave

Welcome to APF!!! I am sure you will like it here :)

Post some pics along w/info on your setup. We'll try our best.

Thanks. Well for a set up, I have a digital camera. Sony DSC-p72. I have a normal camera as well a Canon EOS Rebel G. I know just the basics about cameras. I don't use the canon much. I have experimented alot with my digital camera but I have a few issues. If I use a flash, even at an angle, I still get reflections of stuff on the acrylic. If i use no flash the exposure time is lengthened, and having sting rays, they never sit still unless they are hidden under the sand. So you can see my dilema. Some times I do get lucky and take a nice clear shot but there's always something on the acrylic. Most of the time its the tripod I can see.

dave, post some pics along w/this stuff, in the photography 101 section. :)
