what is ur doviis staple diet. My doviis staple is cichlid gold,but recently he has been eating alot of frozen plankton. I believe frozen food is best for Large carnivore cichlids. I believe frozen plankton is my doviis all time favirate,but his staple is mainly cichlid gold.

could you you share what your doviis staple is.

I give my Dovii a mixture of Hikari frozen Bloodworm, Brine shrimp, cichlid gold and Omega One cichlid pellets. His main food source is the Hikari cichlid Gold though, the frozen foods are a once or twice a week thing

When people say market shrimp, does that mean the frozen uncooked (raw) stuff, the cooked frozen shrimp..., shelled, or deshelled, white, or orange ? Just curious what exactly is meant by market shrimp.

Frozen, uncooked shrimp, with or with out shell. Definitely no head.
