What's with Ray popularity?

The two rays I own (p14 & Pearl) are moving 90% of the time. One of the reasons I got them was because they are supposed to be very active rays. I don't even remember the last time I looked at the tank and they were sitting still.

they have their quiet times but our motoro is generally pretty active

nope they swim around too. Plus some rays are really nice.

ya my motoro is very active, ya sometimes he sits under sand but most time he is all over the tank swiming around

I used to have a pearl ray and it was fairly active. Great fun to feed by hand too.

what's with any fish popularity?

All the rays I've seen have always been active. only stopping after eating or just wanting to chill.
