noticed one of my Polli like this... do you know why it is like that?

looks like it's been injured and/or infected. bad water quality can also be the cause leading to something like this, not saying your water's bad or anything, just listing some possible causes.

i would do a water change (always good to do a water change to promote recovery) and add salt and/or antibiotics. if you do use antibiotics, its recommended that you use a hospital tank. if you can't isolate it or don't wanna use antibiotics right off the bat, you can wait and see whether water changes and salt can do the trick. sometimes that'll work. if its infected or get worse or doesn't clear up, i'd consider antibiotics.

my guess would be injury. Get it to a hospital tank asap so it recovers with as little injury as possible to the eye. My severum had a slight injury like that, but due to further stress, the liquid in the eye drained out through the hole or scratch, and it went blind in that eye. You don't want that to happen to your bichir!

Is it just the one eye? Also the nostril on the same side as the eye looks whitish is it?if so I'm thinking a gram -positive bacterial infection Erythromycin would be the antibiotic of choice

ok thanks, i hadnt done a water change in 10days when i noticed it, i did a 50% change and its still cloudy but doesnt look too bad, and i think the nostril is ok, probably was some glare in the pic.
But another weird thing, another of my Polli males is acting weird and has been for some days now.
He is very very light colored, just like he got when he was introduced to the tank, almost white, like he is very stressed.
But he is not at all stressed, he is very calm and floats by the surfice completle motionless, didnt even mind me touching him
But other than that and the light-color, he looks fine.

Both polli males came from the same person and got into my tank 2 weeks ago. They came with one female which is 110% fine and healthy.

I dont have a hospital tank atm but it looks like i will need one, i am most worried with this being something that the others can get ?
I have been noticing my Clown Knives scratching on the sand regularly in the last few days, could it be related ?
Water quality is fine.

that looks like a case of cloud eye.
A couple of good water changes and a dose of salt should do the trick.
if that dosent work antibiotic's are in order.
My ornate bichir gets it from time to time,if you catch it soon it whont be a problume.
