I do have an attraction for a massive school of small fish. I once had about 200 guppies in a 60 gallon, and it was eaten almost over night by 5 juvie ATFs.

I think I would really like a tank full of hundreds of tiny schooling fish too, that would be fun to watch , but them again I would have to resist buying something that could go in the same tank and end up eating them all ? It is possible to burn yourself out on something (even *GASP* MOnster fish ! ) maybe you got so involved with monsters for so long and now the wimpy fish are starting to look "new and different" to you again? Maybe not ? I don't think anything is wrong except for possibly your red eyes, never ending thirst, and the large amount of snacks consumed while the thoughts of buying some tetras entered your head? Don't worry brotha we all get a little older everyday

i think that's a little bit harsh... fish running for their lives. better feed them just enough. predatorial fishes are nice but shools of fish would look elegant.

Nothing wrong with a tetra tank for small spaces or just for contrast, although small some of the little characins are unmatched in beauty.
