My Angel has had this white bumps around one of his fins for about 2 weeks now he doesn't seem to be bothered by an is still very active an feeds regularly. I'm not sure what it is. I've been salting with water changes every week, checked that water an every thing was fine. It looks like maybe a fungus or something. Any one know what it is or could be? An how would I treat it? Thanks

Pm Aquanero. I know zilch about angels. He knows his stuff.

This looks like Lymphocystis. It is viral, an out break usually lasts about 3-4 weeks and then seems to "go away", actually goes dormant. The fish will show no ill effects and seem normal in all respects other than the unsightly lumps. There is no medacation for it. I would isolate the fish in a hospital tank during this active period as the virus can spread to other fish. I wouldn't breed the fish. Keep your water clean and maintane a healthy diet as there is nothing else that can be done, it's not fatel. Some people choose to euthanize fish with Lymphocystis, however that decision is totally up to you. I hate to even say this is what I think it is and would welcome any other reasonable opinion as to what this might be but unfortunatly this seems to be showing more and more lately.

I am a hobbiest like you and this is just my opinion based on what you've written and the picture you posted.

This is and informative link on the subject: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/fa181 please read it so you can better understand what this might be and draw your own conclusion.
