Hey everbody, last saturady i added a seabae anemone to my tank. In about a few hours my maroon clown began to go in it....to this day never leaves it only for food. Today i notice white marks....not dots like ick. They look like scrapes...could the anemone have done this?

Haha, yeah its 9am over here.. Yeah, pics would help alot. I'm still fairly new to salt, but if the clown is still going into the anemone I wouldn't thats what caused it.

Cool probably your right because the anemone placed himself between a jagged rock and glass...so the clown constantly by the rock.

Btw im italian to maybe you could of tell by my name "pazzoman"...my uncle used to call me that when I was like 7...lol

I've heard of anemones stinging clownfish before their slime coats get strong. They have to acclimate themselves to it so I assume this is the problem. But its best to put up pics so we can be sure.

I doubt the anemone caused it. I would second the opinion that it may be scrapes. Scrapes however, usually appear to have chunks coming off and it usually obvious. Keep a close eye on it and until the pics appear its going to be difficult to be sure

Im have difficulties grabbing pics, but all i can say they are white lines/blobs...a few. He seems fine, pushes everything away from the anemone...I'll just keep an eye on him
