What's wrong with my IT

Hi everyone,

Could you please try to help me with finding out what is wrong with my Datnoid (IT)? I have him in my tank about eight days now and he was very stable and active untill yesterday. Since then he is lying on the bottom of the tank a lot and he is not so stable anymore.

Any ideas?? Water is good, he eats well (shrimps just now) and responses to his environment (me and other fishes)..

Its a INDO(IT) and its just trying to hide. Its normal.

This looks like stress mate. Black out the tank (turn off the lights) and give him some time. You can still feed him if you want but looking at his belly he can skip a few days.

Also you could give him a vertical hiding place so he doesn't have to hide like this.

Thanks everybody.. I think I am going to provide my IT with some more hiding places then.. At the moment he is stable and (vertical) again.. hope it lasts.

Turned up aeration as well this afternoon, won't hurt him I figured.

if you give it hiding places you will never see it remove all the hiding places and it will have no choice but to become brave
