Alright, something is definitely wrong with my Jack, but what is it? He's always had beautiful coloration, but it is noticeably fading. Anyone know what's wrong?IMAG0115.jpgIMAG0116.jpg

Post your water parameters, any changes in his environment lately... like adding or removing a tank mate, also, what do you feed him.. and is he eating normally?

Water parameters are fine. He's been like this for a while now. Went from a 55 to a 125 about a week ago, but he looked the same even back then. He eats bloodworms and sinking pellets. Definitely eating normally. Right now, he's in there with 3 golden labs, a chipokae, 4 convicts, a baby frontosa, black spotted eel, and a cobalt blue zebra.

thats low for africans but it will be fine for all your fish. Could just be the mood of the fish.

I wanted to keep it right in the middle. Thinking of getting rid of all of my africans, and going strictly ca/sa. They seem to be more expensive, but I've kept africans for a while now.

i have a 150 but not running at the moment. My 75 houses a red terror, and venezuelan pike, my growout tank has jag cichlid, and red wolf fish. Imay be buying a red tiger moto. You have alot of options with a 125. You can do a bunch of medium cichlids or a few medium, and large cichlid. Research and you will find something but with cichlids theres alot of trial and error
