whats wrong with my oscar

about 2 weeks ago i posted pics of my new oscar i pick up and try to find one in best health and i found this guy, but he has one problem, seems to have a bump on the buttom of his lip, how can i get rid of these or heal this here are some pics

has he had that since you got him?
 
sure its not just a chimple from always rubbing his face on the glass?

yea hes had this since i got him
if you look at my first thread when i first got him you can see he kind of had an overbite due to that

nope never rubs on my tank, very calm, but the lfs i got him from he was put in a small tank

if he was in a small tank then thats probably what it is. chimple
 
its a pretty big bump to be a rubbing calus. but i'm not saying that isnt what it is.

could be that he ramed something pretty hard and damaged his lip. if its getting bigger, i would add some salt to your tank as well as Malafix.

That will help it heal quicker and prevent any bacterial infections. Or if one is starting, it will help get rid of it quicker.

Dose with the malafix for a week, but keep using the salt until it is healed. And of course W/C's. It doesnt look too serious. Just an injury/calus that is trying to heal.

yes it was the healthiest only eats pellets, no hith or ripped fins, this was the only problem, of course there was smaller ones but wanted a big one due to my collection, why what do you think is wrong with it
