Whats wrong with my ray?

I resuced this ray today from a lfs they had it a 20 long for about a.month. It looked pretty sick so I convinced the owner to let me let me take it home. Can any one tell me whats wrong with it and how to cure it.

Plenty of water changes and good water is all I know. Not too sure about using drugs.

Is the filtration in the 2nd pic the only filtration you have in the tank?

Yeah my water is alot better then what it was in the store all they had was 2 little air pump filters.

You'll need better filtration or else you'll be doing water changes everyday to cope up with the load. Hope the ray gets better.

Planty of WC, lights out to reduce stress, and get it eating. If its eating, it should recover, but may have scars...time will tell. Do you have a larger tank to put it in once it gets better?

No thats was the tank it was in at tge lfs. I got 2 ac 70s on the 55 its quarentined in till it gets better thrn its goin in a 210 that has a sump and auto drip system.
