What's wrong with my red devil !?

Is it stressed sick peeling fading ?? What's wrong with it it's about 6-7 inches long was a nice yellow orange all of a sudden started to get real dark

it's called peeling and fading. It would be really cool if it stayed that color but it won't happen
he'll get darker then lighter maybe darker again and then probably orange. Best part about grow outs. You got a nice fish there I doubt you'll be disappointed

Just changing color,my friend has some goldfish that can't decide what color they r ,they r still changing color after 11 years.

Yeah I had one that turned almost completly black for a month or two and I don't think it was stress due to him having plenty of room and tank mates that didn't harass him
