Saw this oscar in a tank at the lfs, took me two looks to realize it actually was one (im sure they didnt take it by choice, ppl always are just dumping oscars there when they get large). Besides hith which i saw, and the foggy eyes, whys his head so short? stunted? even though he was huge... sorry for the bad pic, i could only get it with the phone i had on me....if this is supposed to be in fish disease and health, please move accordingly

ya that would be my guess, coming from a small tank
or it really just liked ramming the glass

Maybe he had ugly parents :) Thats what I blame my face on!

WoAh, that is one smushed ass face. Its prob. from ramming into the glass in a little tank when it was frightened and had no where to go.

i was thinking stunted, might havta go with smashing its face off the glass instead though, bc this oscar was huge, both length and width wise.

any other ideas??

is that really a question??
u see ur oscar in urtank,,cant even turn around..
tank is to ****ing small:irked:

Poor guy, it does look like its house is too small which is probably the cause, as stated above. Makes me sad...

They are talking about the fact that that oscar has a "pug" face, its smushed
However there are easy steps for your oscar with HITH (if it has it)
