Three weeks ago I received my wild caught female Festae, The same day she was eating like a pig. now she's not eating, lips swollen, whitish long poop and she's breathing rapidly. Althogh she's still dominant over the other two male Festaes but she's staying put under a cave. any info would be gladly appreciated.

Do you have any pictures?

The long white poop is due to intestinal parasites. I treat with gel-tek, but you can use whatever medicine you can find. It must be put in their food or else it's not really effective. This may be a problem since she's not eating.

The breathing rapidly and not eating is a common symptom of gill disease. It can be caused by bacterial infections, parasites, or even a fungus in some cases. The swollen lips I'm not really sure about.
Problem is if you don't know whether the gill problems are bacterial, parasitic or fungal you will have to treat with more than one med. I would personally try treating with both coppersafe and an antibacterial, like maracyn, but someone else may have another suggestion.

What are your water parameters?

BTW, some of her issues may be contagious, so if possible move her to quarantine.

Thanks for the info, The water parameters are really good. I do water changes every four days. About forty gallons and the tank is a 90 gallon. As for filtration I have fluval fx5 wich is rated for 400 gals. and I also have a marineland emperor filter as well.
