for the last week my jack dempsey has been going crazy raceing back and forth and slaming in to things then it will curl and float to the top like its haveing a sezsure. Now for the last 20 hr she has just been floating on the top of the water with a **** ton of missing scales and ripped fins. whats wrongg with it??????

I would do a 30-50% water change, then add one tablespoon of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water
i dont have any testing strips but i havent changed anything i do a 40 % water change a week and its in a 60 gal also the tank mate are a 4in convict,9in pleco, 3in jewel, and a 7in Leporinus the jd in 7in also all the other fish seem healthy
I think I know what disease your fish is suffering from, it is called "Flukes".
"If you are dealing with flukes you should be able to see eyes and movement which you won't see if you are dealing with ich/ick. Common symptoms include fish scratching itself against everything all the time, mucus on gills or body, sunken in bellies, rapid breathing, and reddened skin. In severe cases the fins on infected fish can be eaten clean of the fish. Flukes will if left untreated kill the fish by destroying its gills."

watch the convict, you may have some aggression problems. the missing scales can be another fish attacking it. keep an eye on them
