What's your favorite cichlids?

I'm trying to get an idea of what you folks really dig - to better carry good cichlid stock. There are so many out there to choose from, and I know it's impossible to choose a single favorite. So go ahead and list as many as you'd like.

I do like certain Peacock Bass and Dovii's are pretty cool?! But my favourite by a long shot are Oscars!!!

amen i agree if you have the space in your store set up a cichla tank they will sell out if you show people just an example of how fast a goldfish dissapears and they have persoalitys just like an oscar dos in fact if i open my tank to feed my catfish er whatever dosnt eat live my cichla will surface and splash me with there tails its hillarious i make my buddies feed them just so i can laugh when they get splashed lol

my fave cichlids are Parachromis loisellei,motaguense 'red tiger',managuense,dovii,Amphilophus citrinellus,labiatus,lyonsi,festae,trimaculatus,Vieja argentea,synspilus,maculicauda,zonatum,Hericthys carpintus,cyanoguttatus,labridens,Nandopsis beani,bartoni,uropthalmus,tetracanthus,hatiensis,istlanum,grammodes,Caquetia umbriferus,oscars,Crenicichla saxatilis,lepidota,xingu I II III,marmorata,some peacock bass,frontosas,tilapia buttikoferi i think that will do lol !!!

Crenicichla (Pike Cichlids) any of them
Parachromis, Managuense...any of them
WILD Oscars, the ones I've seen on here look so much better than normal farm bred

lol how so? fish arent a "style" or a "fad" that get played out. gotta get fish for yourself, not to show off to others

Aequidens rivulatus or "green terror" are my choice. not a bad for noobs too.
