Title says it all. Include pics please

My favorite rod and reel I have is my hank parker medium action spin rod. Its 7' and this thing can cast farther than anything else ive ever seen. Its overall a great rod for just about anything and its very strong. It just in general is a great rod and very smooth reel. It feels great in your hand too. This rod runs at the cheap price of around $50 uploadfromtaptalk1368495721010.jpg
My second favorite would have to be my abu garcia hank parker baitcaster. Also 7' and a very strong and powerful rod that you can catch a whole bunch of fish on. I saw it and I knew I needed to get it. So i did. This rod runs at the amazing price of about $100

I have rod and reels, nothing too fancy. But I prefer handreels for river and freshwater fishing. I'll go to the river across from me with 6 handreels, and there'll be those guys in their $30,000 boat with their $60 shimano shirts, $1500 outfit and $50 lure catching nothing while i'm cleaning up with just handreels and some live bait.

Nothing beats my 404 reel. Lasts forever. Always smooth. And best of all its cheap.

Usually put it with and ugly stick. 30lb cats are common. Can get some decent redfish too.

My favorite rods are G Loomis GLX series. Awesome sensitivity and lifetime warranty, but pretty damn expensive. As for reels, I've had really expensive, limited japanese daiwas and fancy shimanos, but right now just some cheapo reels, and to be honest, I'll take the cheapos. I've got some $29 bass pro bait casters and some cheap spinning reels and don't miss the fancy reels at all.

I had a shimano ci4 2500 paired with a 6'6" fenwick hmg (or hmx) can't remember, got stolen.
It was super sensitive and light (I could feel when I snagged/brushed a leaf). Sure there are other/possible better combos just obviously a big difference when I switched from the beast ugly stick to that.

I am looking at the carrot stix now.

I can't say I have a favorite. I have over 50 and each one serves a different purpose. They all serve well. Fishing tackle is an area I don't mess around with.

As far a Gloomis goes, I would never buy another one. I've owned a dozen only to sell them off. 4 different warranty issues among the rods. Got tired of shipping and being out of a setup.

I have 2 shimano catana's, one with a Shimano nexave reel and one with a shimano stradic reel. I use them for any type of fishing.
