What's your favorite plant?

So, what's your favorite plant? Do not include aquatic plants.

Mine include Jatropha podagrica, Wisteria ssp, Dioscorea elephantipes, Dioscorea batatus, Hibiscus syriacus, and others.

I like foliage types such as the elephant ears and citrus plants like kaffir lime.

Excellent choices - I love how huge elephant ears' leaves get! Crazy huh.

I prefer the Pseudotsuga, Abies, and Tsuga genera. But then, I do live in the Pacific Northwest.

Modest - Yes, quite stunning. Two of my favorite trees in my yard is an Abies koreana Aurea, and an Abies koreana "Blue"

We've got some 4' diameter ~150 year old Pseudotsuga menziesii in the back yard.

Let's see what I remember from my Botany of the Pacific Northwest class...

We have Tsuga heterophylla, Thuja plicata, Abies nobilis, Larix occidentalis, Picea sitchensis, among other, non-native trees. Not sure how I did on the spelling.

Favorite family of angiosperms though is Liliaceae. Love the tepals.

The manicheel tree, (Hippomane mancinella) I always wanted a couple of these to put a picnic table under.

I really like the Bonsai trees, just find them interesting and fun to have inside the house.

Yep love the ones with leaves almost as big as a small car.

Venus flytrap...by far. I've kept many, and they multiply very quickly.
