Since I busted out the BBQ for the first time this year I thought I'd share with you some tri-tip bliss and maybe you folks can do the same-
Tri-Tip ala Westie
1 lg. tri-tip fat removed
2 Tbs. Chili powder
2 tsp. Cumin
1 Tbs. Garlic powder
2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. Allspice
3-4 Tbs. Worchestershire
2 Tbs. Vegetable oil
Mix and marinate 1-2 hours, then grill using some hickory.
The Sauce(a must)
4 Tbs. Butter
4 Tbs. Worchestershire
1 Shallot chopped
2 Tbs. Chives chopped
1 Tbs. Whole grain mustard
1 tsp. salt
Heat and whisk into sauce. Pour over thinly sliced beef.
