I feed my bass twice a day on most days, pellets in the morning and frozen tilapia, or shrimp at night. Except for the day before waterchange day, I only feed them once with catfish to aid with digestion.....I know it works with bichirs so I figured it would help my cichla too. So whats your feeding regimen?

Once a day, evenings. I usually go back and forth between feeding my big pbass in the 300 gallon and the little guys in the 75 gallon, to give them a little bit more time to snap up as much as they want. I actually kind of like your idea about withholding food the day before water changes, hmmm...
+1. I also think holding food off near water change day is a good idea that I will use in the future. Cheers..

When ever i remember, sometimes i don't feed for 3/4 days then i might go ASDA and pick up loads of prawns and mussels and chuck the lot in with some pellet.

I feed my growouts massivore 2-3 x daily and the bigger bass a mix of pellets once a day in the evening.
I feed my bass and stingrays food stick and prawn for breakfast and then food stick and prawn for dinner.
