We all know it's a good practice to quarantine new additions. What routine do you follow when adding tankmates?
Generally I'll do at least 2 weeks in quarantine after acclimation, dim lighting, temp above 80 (unless species cannot tolerate that range), minimal feeding, 50% water change every other day with tank water from aquarium they will be transferred to, and visual inspections twice daily for any visible signs of distress or illness.
I don't use medications unless I see a specific need to.
