When are my Platies giving birth?

I have at least 6 pregnant platies. I'm trying to figure out when they are going to give birth. They are getting pretty big, any pointers?

Do you have any pictures? Sometimes they will spend a lot of time at the top of the tank when they are ready.

They look like they'll be ready any day now. Are you using a breeding trap/net or another tank? If you're going to move them, I would go ahead.

I have a 5.5 gal I can put them in I also have one breeding trap. What do you think I should do? The 5.5 is empty with a heater and a Filter but I will obviously shut off the filter if I move them in there?

next time if you want to keep babies move the females as soon as they look pregnant......if you move them now do not net them or take them out of the water, use a cup or some thing and be gentle... you dont want them do drop the babies premature

I have the three biggest females in a 5.5 gal along, looks like this morning i will have some fry hopefully

Keep the filter on, but put a stocking or some kind of foam over the intake valve - unless you're willing to do daily water changes for the fry.
