When are these monster fish in season?

I want to buy different monster fish and would like to know when they are in season (and the cheapest).


When are:

-flagtails (fei feng)
-clown knife
-royal clown knife
-peacock bass
-severum
-uaru
-jardini
-endli and delhezi bichirs
-datnoids

when do shops usually get these guys in stock from their suppliers? I've been trying to find a flagtail for awhile but every LFS I've been to says they're not in season.

I see CK's & severums all the time. They're hardly rare. The others are a bit rarer. I believe jardinis are most popular in early spring.

actually The only thing on the list that I haven't seen lately is flagtails....
if you look only line at some of the vendors pages here you will see most of those fish, and it also depends on what species of Peacock bass you are wanting also.

Well my LFS usually has Delhezis and endlis quite often, and sometime in spring for a new shipment of 1/2" Dats.

Don't read too much into the "not in season" excuse. Though many of the fish kept in the hobby might be seasonal, "not in season" is often short for "we don't carry them , our suppliers don't carry them, and we are not going to look for you."
