When can Cichla Orinos start to breed?

Ive got myself 4 baby orinos bout 4 & 5'' at the moment and was hoping that i might eventually get a pair out of them.What size are they able to breed? Would they breed in a tank 4x2x2 with just two of them in there?

Probably around 3 years and 20+ inches long. 4 foot long tank would be cruel for any mature p-bass. I would have to say 6x2 for a pair of bass would do. DM where in a 7x2 i believe.

i believe dmacks cichla were in a 6x4wide if can remember correctly but like you said id go with the 6x2 bare minimum if not a little wider...

I remember diselmacks were pushing 2' fish and it was a 6x4x2

Doing it in a 4x2x2 is just cruel.

yeah his cichla were in a 6x4 but not his breeding pair. lewis was referrings to his breeding tank with the pair of orinos which is only 2 feet wide..

i believe dmacks cichla were in a 6x4wide if can remember correctly but like you said id go with the 6x2 bare minimum if not a little wider...

Ive got em in my 8x2x2 at the moment,so a 6x2x2 would be the minimum for em in a couple of years if i wanted a pair to start to breed.
