Justing wondering at what age did you guys move out of your house and why? And if you havent moved out yet when do you plan to? I did not move out until I was 22. Why so late you ask? Well it was a lot cheaper to live with my parents than to stay on campus. And the food was a lot better. It had its drawbacks though. My mom is a constant neat freak. And my dad wanted me to still do chores around the house.(as if I wasnt paying rent!). They got so annoying they almost drove me insane. I dont know how some guys can live with their parents until they are 27 or 28.

I moved out when I went to college at eighteen and stayed in the college town even during Summer quarters. I never moved back in with my parents. Reading the first two posts on this reminds me of that late-teens-to-early-twenties angst. Trust me -- It gets better.

Moved out at 19, couldn't stand my mother anymore. Still can't stand her. 1200 miles doesn't seem like enough. Oh, yeah, also to go to college.
i was 19. wanted to get out of the house, plus my girlfriend at the time moved into her grandparents' house after they moved out/ passed on so we were the youngest people around with an actual house. i've never lived in an apartment. now i'm 26 and i live in a suburban middleclass neighborhood with my own mortgage.

haha the farm was a rental house with a VERY understanding landlord. i was there until september (damn i've been in my own home for nearly a year!) somewhere in that neighborhood there are three wild guineas i couldn't catch terrorizing everything to this day.
