My 4" Fahaka, Pazuzu, has really developed a lot of color on his sides, though his back is still pretty mottled. He already bumps his nose on the tank when I'm close and will take food from my fingers. I plan to post some updated pics soon, but when I got him there was only patches of maroon and very faint stripes, but now he has dark maroon and green and yellow filling in pretty fast, every day I get up it's like looking at a whole new fish. I was wondering when other Fahakas have developed their stripes and how quickly they've filled in?

One thing piccys! Nooki our fahaka is about 4-5" and it has been the last couple of inches he really has started to develop his colour stripes and yellow belly. He was a pretty mottled lump as well when he first came to us with faint red marks, his red markings still could develop more (which I hope they do!). It is great to see them grow.
