When do convicts start becoming aggressive?

I saw a 2in convict at Petco today and couldn't resist buying it...so it's in a 55g tank with comets that were already in there
I have an old 10g that housed the comets before I bought the 55 last week, but I don't want to put them back in unless they're being attacked by the convict o.o

Edit:Comets are ~1in and ~2.5in w/out the tail
What's the best temperature for convicts? Tank's at 75 F and my heaters arriving in a few days :O

when do they start becoming aggressive? when they're born! but mainly when they start breeding. Just keep a watch and see how your new cons personality is.

convicts are much more agresive when breeding

he will prolly leave them alon but they are pretty much agressive from when they hatch. lol

my new pair laid eggs and when they hatched the male killed my new upside down cat. Lesson learned

My convicts ward off my Parachromis. They work together, flaring their gills, and biting the intruders.
