yer some can take only 8-10 months weras the frontosa can take up to 5years before you get the first breed

yea my albino ice blue has eggs in her mouth already and ive had the pair for only 3- 1/2 months. and i only bought them when they where 2in. i was very suprised. hopin she hatches them succesfully, being her first time in all.

IN general 4 to 5 inches is aveage . That is when you start to see the males go into their color changes or mature. That is just a general rule of thumb and there are species that take much longer and some that do it much ealier.

This is the answer I was looking for. So if I have fish in the 1.5" to 2: range how long will it take form them to reach 5 inches? These are my fish
