When do I transfer my silver Arrowana?

I have a 6" silver arowana in a 75 gallon with a 6" Giraffe nose cat fish and I'm curious at what size do I transfer him into a 150 gallon which I have empty right now. I still need to set up filtration in the tank and heater as well as cycling. Should I just do this right away and get him in there ASAP or is it better to keep him in the 75 until he grows out?

get that thing up and cycling. And then you need to get a tank w/ a minimum of 3ft wide to accomadate him in the next year or so. Silvers grow fast!

I would transfer somewhere around 10-12". make sure your 150 is well cycled!
