on an icecube.....
i bought a "red line" snake head a couple days ago :WHOA: , its about 2"-3" long but dosent have a hint of the red line on its sides, it has a darker black line down the middel with a lighter underside and darker above with some faint blotches, so i wondering if it is a red line(channa micropeltis?) that has just out grown its juvenile colors or possibley some other channa sp? also anyone know about how often i should be feeding him? right now hes getting about 3 new born guppy fry a day but is this too mutch or not enough?

thanks

I doubt it no, micros are probably the "biggest" snakeheads. The only snakehead longer than a micro is a marulius.

Do you have a photo? I could probably tell you what it is.

no i dont have a pic my digital camera sucks and iam not even sure how to get the pics on the internet anyway(i suck at commputors)

but iam going nuts because iam not sure what kind of SH this is  is there a list someware online with pics of SH or somthing like that?

mine is 7.5 inches it still has its black horiztonal stripes. mine never really hard a noticable red stripe but its tale is red. I can kinda see the vertical stripes/blotches starting to appear.

well i took a good look at snakeheads.org and the closest pic i found was parachanna insignis, has anyone kept this kind before? how big do they grow ect?

thanks
