I have a 300 gallon tank that was cycled with Tiger Barbs this February then slowly stocked with the fish in my Sig line. The Oscars are approaching 6 months old.

There are currently 17 Tiger Barbs living peacefully in this tank with the Oscars.

Consider this a sort of a "pool" as to when the Oscars figure out that the Tiger Barbs would make a tasty snack.

The winner receives a spot on the MFK Sticker Waiting List. :)

Whenever you tell us how big the oscars are.

(6 months.......must be way too small to eat adult tiger barbs)

The White Tiger Oscar is approaching 6 inches while the Red Tiger is approaching 5 inches.

The Tiger Barbs average about 1.5 inches and are still pretty slender. There are a couple that have gotten a beer belly. :)

Nevar..

AS long as the tiger barbs stay healthy and swims fast and all, and doesnt get stuck on a corner, or rock or woood, ect, or gets sick and starts to limp lol.. they should be able to live i think =D then again theres always a chance to be eaten =^___^= mm m yummy =D

I have some tigers barbs with a giant australian Blue crayfish, so far itz been 4 months and he hasnt cuaght one yet lol.

I hope ur barbs live and not get eaten lol. =^_^=
