I'm refurbing a 250 acrylic. The calicification wont come off. I've been using vinegar and a hand sander. Is there a product i an use to soften it up?

Hello?

this will probably get voted down real fast but if you are extremely careful you can take off really stubborn calcified stuff with a razor blade.

It's like its embedded in the plastic. im going to Walmart for 5 or 6 gallons of vinegar

its acrylic,, use a medium sand paper to get rid of it,, no vinegar,, then polish the acrylic and it will be good as new.. google/youtube how to get a scratch out of acrylic aquarium.

basically you are going to have to sand the calcium until you hit acrylic, basically scratching the acrylic then buy the stuff to polish it. it works great. i will see if i can find the name
