i have used lead free solder.....just wrap it around one end
I was thinking maybe a stainless steal shishqabob skewer( spelling lol )

I've read some breeders guides that insisted that using a Fork was the easies cheapest way to do it ... simply stab and drop LOL

Sometimes I stick the veggies with a fork and sometimes I just let the cut pieces of veggies float. My plecos will swim upside down and chew on the floating veggies.
