Do you get them to stay on the bottom of the tank? I have bought MANY of them veggie clips but they keep breaking on me :irked:. Is their any other way to get them to stay on the bottom of the tank for a few hours?

i have used lead free solder.....just wrap it around one end :):)

I was thinking maybe a stainless steal shishqabob skewer( spelling lol )
it should be heavy enough to hold the food down, and long enough to keep quite a bit of food on there.

To quote The Tick... "SPOON!"

I have a spoon with a pointed handle that I keep away from the rest of the silverware and it was designated the "pleco spoon". When I moved to my first post college apartment, it was the only decent piece of metal silverware I had for quite some time.

I've read some breeders guides that insisted that using a Fork was the easies cheapest way to do it ... simply stab and drop LOL

Personally what I would do anyway
Definitely not the cheapest way. A stainless steel nail will run a whopping $.05-$.10.

Sometimes I stick the veggies with a fork and sometimes I just let the cut pieces of veggies float. My plecos will swim upside down and chew on the floating veggies.
