Stuff like this happens. My midas devil does not like hands in his tank. Anyone else have a pic of fish-inflicted damage?

A mear flesh wound, but enough to make you think twice about putting your hand back in the tank. Wait until it becomes one of those big snagle tooth RDs that wants to bite you while your still in the kitched. Haha! GL.

LOL this is how I'm hoping my flowerhorn turns out. Adds a bit of excitement to the waterchanges!!

To the OP, I'm assuming the fish in your avatar is the one in question, it's a beautiful fish. if it gets worse, you could always divide the tank while cleaning it.

There was another thread where canuck posted a pic of his messed arm, hes got something like a 6ft green moray eel. That was straight up nasty, like I don't know how he had the time to take a picture of it...

You should get a video of his reaction to the gravel vac. Priceless!

My Oscar started attacking me for the first time yesterday when I was scrubbing algae. First he bit me, so I bapped him with my finger right on the nose. He tried to come back at me, so I stuck out my finger and spun my hand around his nose so fast he couldn't get a lock on the finger to bite it. He scooted off in frustration. Then he came back for more, and got the same. He figured out pretty fast that he wasn't going to be able to bite the spinning finger. Maybe you could try that on your little buddy. Might work for awhile, at least. Don't be afraid to get close, he hasn't got a chance in heck as long as you're very fast. And when you get near the eyes, it should really deter him.

The culprit is the fish in my avatar. He's about 8-9" now. I am going to have to figure something out, as water changes are a constant stream of attacks. He gets fired up as soon as he sees the buckets, and he flares at the siphon when I bring it out.

Adam, I need to get a whole water change on video. I am sure it would be entertaining.
