My Male Flowerhorn and female Midas/Red Devil have produced. Fry have only been free swimming for a couple of days now. When is it ok to go ahead and move them to a growout tank (20g with sponge filter). Also, what is the best method for removing them? Net ok? Just afraid that they are fragile and I want to be as careful as possible. Thanks!

Once they become free swimming, it should be ok to separate them. I wouldn't use a net. Try to scoop them out instead with a bowl. Try to keep them in the water. Easiest thing to do is remove the parents.

i just used the hose off my gravel vac and sucked em all up it has worked for 2 batches of texas fry with no losses
