how do you know when the cycling of a new tank is complete? i have a 55 with fresh pfs, 1 already established ac 11o, another brand new ac 110, with @10 little rosies i think. i added 2 bottles of bacteria to the tank, temp around 84, and poured some of the bacteria on the biomax of the filters while they were running, it has been running since thursday, and the little feeders were fed once on thursday night,

when your amonia and nitrite are zero and you have a nitrate reading , if you have used 1 old filter and added to the biomax it should not take long at all , 4-5 days i would expect to be clear
