So within the last 3 months I've had to replace my well tank, water softner, lift station pump and now yesterday my sump pump. This crap is getting old, I hope finally now everything will be good to go. Instead of doing a water change yesterday on the 220 I had to run back and forth to the hardware store because the brand new pump was jammed and the motor wouldn't turn. Just venting.

Check the voltage coming into your house. My parents had the same kind of situation several years ago, a lot of the major appliances going out within about six months. My dad finally had the idea to check the voltage on the house and the main 220V power line coming into the house was reading less than 200V (somewhere around 180-190V). This causes the appliances to use higher amperage to make up for the low voltage. Once he found this out he made the mistake of calling and questioning the power company about it without having any third party to verify his readings and took no picture proof to show that the voltage was so low, and then after questioning if this could be the cause of all of the major appliances going out in such a small timeframe the power magically came back up to 220V and the power company simply told us that they found no such issue...

Good luck with your house and I hope it all works out.

Did this dance around 2 years back and am still paying for it. Stay the course man.

My family has Four cars between us. Mine, my wife's, my two boys. And all of them have the check engine light on for one reason or another! The struggle is real!

OP I feel your pain!
Are they Fords?? LOL

I was boiling water to sterilize some filters today and the damn burner overloaded or something and burned a HOLE in the bottom of a giant POT of water and it started leaking into the burner and sparking and electrical **** and I bugged out. IDK what happened, some type of crazy chemical reaction or something.....how does a stove burner BURN A HOLE IN A METAL POT............FILLED WITH WATER???????????

That sucks! My well pump is almost 13 yo, so I'm sure I'm just running on borrowed time. Pressure tank, water softener resin, and water heater were replaced just several years ago. Also, 12+ yo washing machine has been having error codes more frequently. At least I'm doing my part for the economy
