I wonder if the fish was breed for that or is it just an abberation, genetics gone wild causing a phsyical defect. I have to think that wasn't intentinal, at least I hope it wasn't. If it was intentional file it under FAIL.
 
I think the fish been living it's life with the top of its head sticking above the water surface due to internal parasite for a long long time. That's why it became like that.

I know it's not intentional. Even if someone wants to breed for mutation like this it's not gonna happen just because they want it to

I have also seen this deformity when the head has been out of the water for a long period.....
It creates an open sore from being dried out, the vid is after it has healed

poor fish, but not against flowerhorn keepers or what, I really am not that fond for a FH. Seems a bit too much deformed for me even for a normal FH with a kok.
