When should I start water changes?

Okay, So I have my firemouth juvie in my 55 along with 3 zebra danios and 3 rosy red minnows. I have successfully cycled my tank with stability in 8 days.

I have a nitrates at 5ppm ,ammonia 0ppm, nitrites 0ppm

My question is when should I start wc's and how much of the water should I change. Thanks A Ton! ;]

I would wait maybe 4 days after cycling is complete and do a 20% w/c then in 5 days another 20% But you should not have a huge bio-load.

50% at LEAST once a week. I do 75% twice weekly and my fish are way the better for it! However, I have a lot of fish in that tank and they are very messy...your stock is light and you could get by with 20% once weekly.
