when taking pics?

how do you make the background all black. I saw a thread that rallysman posted his jaguar and at the top it said point and shoot. Now that is the camera that i have. SO how do i get the background all black?

My guess he's got real good lights and a black background to his tank.

I reckon he photoshopped it. To get the black background.

black background... sometimes you can use Photoshop (or some other software) to change/darken the background as well.

TONS of light on the subject. Black background.

Other than that, probably need a photography major to explain what settings on your camera to use.
